The topic on “Women Empowerment” is a burning issue all over the world. “Women empowerment” and “women equality with men” is a universal issue.
Industrialization and technological change have opened vast opportunities of employment for women in different sectors of the national economy. Today Indian women go to the factory, the office, or the school, or the college to work for a wage.
Formerly a young woman had before her two alternatives; early marriage or continued dependence on and subjection to the parental home.
To restore their rightful and dignified status, The Bugle Trust Karnataka has initiated women empowerment programs that provide a solid foundation to nurture the inner strength, creativity and self-esteem of women from all walks of life. With this base well established, women are now able to go out into the world, prepared to handle any challenge with skills, confidence and grace. They come to the forefront, where they become agents of peace and positive social change for themselves, their families, other women and their society.
